Sometimes, Brad’s Deals features a bargain that is simply too good to pass up. That’s what happened when I recently spotted a pair of black-and-white Skechers D’Lites sneakers that normally retail for $75 for $22 plus shipping.
I’ve always liked monochromatic fashion, especially clothing and accessories in black, white and gray. These sneakers immediately caught my eye because they have a bold, retro-inspired look while still being neutral enough to complement much of my wardrobe. I could see myself wearing them with jeans and a T-shirt, black leggings, casual dresses or almost any outfit built around a monochromatic color palette.
Of course, a cute pair of shoes isn’t much of a bargain if they aren’t comfortable. The Skechers D’Lites Me Time women’s sneakers at Kohl’s appear to offer both style and comfort. They feature an Air-Cooled Memory Foam cushioned insole, a lightweight shock-absorbing midsole and a flexible rubber outsole designed to provide traction and support.
The sporty lace-up design has a chunky silhouette that gives the shoes a little personality without making them difficult to wear. They also have a 1.25-inch heel, a round toe, a foam footbed and a manmade upper with polyester lining.
For me, the best purchases are the ones that combine practicality with a little fun. These sneakers seem versatile enough for everyday wear but distinctive enough to make an outfit more interesting. When I find something that fits my style, matches much of my closet and comes with a great discount, I consider that a deal worth stepping into.
